Uttana Shishosana is one of my favorite inversions when I’m tired; it’s also a great one to do to help yourself feel grounded since it brings you low to the ground and gives you a moment to rest your forehead on the mat as you would in Child’s pose.
As I watch this video, I hear my mom’s voice commenting on the toys everywhere and the unswept floor, but I left them there to reassure y’all that it’s ok to sometimes practice amongst some clutter. Often it’s the only way you’re guaranteed a quiet moment to practice!
